Static load test for construction elements

    Purpose of the test: 
    • Check and assess reliability or safety load level of bending reinforced concrete element.
    • Check and assess durability, hardness and resistance to cracking for types of precast concrete; reinforced concrete or prestressed concrete elements.
    Testing method: Loading to load scheme and level to maximum load test. The loading is closely monitored in order to create a force on element similar to the design load acting on it. Test load value is determined according to design documents and load standards: TCVN 2737-1995 Vietnam Standard design.
    Testing procedure: 
    • TCVN 9344:2012 “Reinforced concrete structures - Strength evaluation of flexural members in situ by static load test”.
    • TCVN 9347:2012 “Reinforced concrete and prefabricated concrete building products - Loading test method for assenssment of strengthe, rigidity and crack resistance”.
    Testing steps: 
    • Chose bearing diagram and loading diagram.
    • Mobilize testing equipments.
    • Install safety scaffolding systems and equipment in accordance with chosen scheme.
    • Loading and record data in the site.
    Testing report:
    • Name and address of employer and testing agency.
    • Testing date and report date.
    • Project name, location, test elements, test location on element and reason to chosen the test location, information of elements and construction method.
    • Drawing of test elements, design data and others...
    • Load - Deformation relationship chat of measurement equipments.
    • Destructive load (if failure occured).
    • Load - Time relationship chart.
